Art and painting was my way of expression and communication. As an immigrant to America and as a Korean American, I wanted to share my views of Korea, and meet a community of artist in the arts district of Seoul, Hongdae, where many artists gather together.

The idea.
I was born in Korea, but raised in The States, with different cultures and views. Often, when I visited Korea, I felt like I wasn’t myself, and became a bystander of who I really was. Through this experience, I was able to share my thoughts with other artists and Korean audience and connect together.
